Finally a new post! My resolution this year is to get all my cousins and family "into blogging"! Come on guys it's just like sending an email that everyone can read and answer in one place. Not complicated, promise! I've taught a class called "Blogging: What is it and How Do I Do It" to library staff. I can even send you the handout or post it online for you!
I've made it to 50; now officially middle aged if I'm going to make it to 100! AARP has already contacted me, I get SPAM now for "senior citizens" and I got a link in an email to "how long will you live". It tells me I'll make it to 82.5; all based on insurance tables and such. That would be the year 2040 and surely we will have flying cars by then; scientist have promised them to us for the last 50 years! I feel 80 already, what will I feel like in 32.5 years? All kidding aside, I do feel blessed to have reached 50. I wish my parents were here to kid me about it, but there are still plenty of friends and family that have done that!
My prayer for all of you is a happy, safe, successful in what ever you do, healthy, even uneventful, new year!
